Is two 16-year olds allowed to start computer repair business?
Its not a business as such but like working from home fixing neighbours and freinds computers for spare cash over summer holidays. Would we be legally allowed to post an advert through there door and repair there computer at a price? We understand laws concerning copyright protection and all hardware or software would be totally legal. Could anyone please help me with this and give me advice please? Thanks! :]

Definately… you can work legally at 12 so long as you have obtained the right business permits, tax documents, and should have business insurance to protect yourself. Start with your City Hall to check on what permits and licenses you’ll need and then check with state and federal entities. Consider writing a business plan. Network with SBA and Score to get a mentor that can help you to answer the legal and financial questions. Don’t dream it … DO IT.
