How does one break into the computer repair or building field?
I am looking for a new job and want to get into computers, but I have little experience with the actual hardware. Any ideas how to get a job? Also what is a good hourly pay for someone with this kind of job?

A degree, experience, and A+ certification will help you get the job. Pay ranges vary. You might get paid more if you work freelance. Start tearing apart old computers and read as much as possible. You can get A+ books from your local library or book store.
