notebook software mac os x
mac os x 10.5 disks for 10.4.9?

I’ll try to make this short and sweet.
I have a Mac OS X version 10.4.9, just bought in Sept. 2007, and it’s been acting up lately so I was going to erase everything and completely reinstall the software from the reboot CD’s that are given along with the mac…..but I can’t find my cd’s anywhere. I have no clue where they are.
BUT, my sister has a Mac OS X version 10.5 Leopard. And guess what…she has her reboot disks!
Is it possible for me to use her software reboot disks on my notebook or will it not be compatible and therefore cause everything to go to hell and I wont be able to use my computer whatsoever anymore?
Any info anybody has would be really helpful to me! :)

Try it. If it’s for a different model and incompatible with yours, the install program will tell you. Run the CDs on YOUR computer.
